Tube mixers and computers

Postby jonathan horne on Thu Jun 18, 2015 10:57 pm

Some of the equipment I have in my project studio are restored tube mixers. I have pairs of Grommes G5m, Altec 1567a, berlant MCM and Dukane 2A40b. Is there any convenient way to hook these up to a computer. I haven't tried it but I do have an EIE by AKAI but it seems like it's made for the front end and not a 600 ohm output of a mixer.

In short I need a DAC that will take, without overload, the 600 ohm input rom a great sounding mixer. Any suggestions or solutions?
